Inside the artful neighborhood of the Plateau, lives a gathering that celebrates the spirit of the Wild. Initially thought of as the release of an individual’s primal edge on the dance floor; the catered sounds of the night invite listeners to exotic places of the mind. Le Salon Daomé is the place for this flamboyantly fitting party that have so far created a sense of uniqueness among Montreal’s many nights. Each of the Wildlife parties has a theme of its own, with decor setting the tone along with percussive resonance filling the space. Atmospherically, we begin to sense that we are actually in a faraway place away from the city. We remember that after all, this is party on a island and we do so accordingly. Previously, in the mind’s eye, we have traveled to the Sahara Desert with Philip Chedid as our guide for the September edition. We fantasized about the Himalayan peaks in December. We sailed to the shores of our subconscious to arrive at a Caribbean jungle in February. The mix is kept to an ensemble of deep progressive tech music with oriental scales emphasized with jungle percussion. Oh, and the night is considered BYOB… Bring Your Own Binoculars.

For its 6th edition, the Wildlife Team is now taking you to the depths of the South East Asian Rainforest. This is a very special one as it will the 25th birthday of our very own Adam Husa. The night arrives with many surprise guests gracing the decks playing a big back to back set all night among friends. The likes of Nic Falardeau, Artphorm & Emmanuel Coté & Fadel (live percussion) & Akira who will be joining us straight from the Dominican Republic will be jamming it out all night long.
