In 2006, on a very special island off the coast of Spain, the Flying Circus Collective was born. Created by Audiofly with the sole purpose of having fun with their friends, the collective grew exponentially over the years and built an incredible reputation for the outstanding vibe they put out at their parties. These events have their own touch of uniqueness; they search for “more spectacular, opulent & nature touched locations… adding to the overall vibrations” as Audiofly puts it. In 2016, Flying Circus is celebrating its 10 year anniversary with a world tour and Newspeak Montreal is the first stop on the North America lineup. On this day, the venue will look build on its solid reputation as an underground dance spot. For us, this is a first; a collective like their own to come celebrate their anniversary in our city. In2Deep is slated to kick the night off with Audiofly & Behrouz closing the place down. Now that’s a heavy lineup…
Behrouz’ release “Endless Summer” on the latest All Day I Dream EP has been getting a lot of play in Montreal the past few months; his hypnotic melodies mixed with the steady grooving baselines he puts out leaves us mesmerized every time we listen to his sound. In2Deep, originally from Montreal just came out with an excellent collaboration with Yokoo on their own label: L’enfant terrible Records (we highly suggest you checking out the material coming out of “LET” if you do not follow it already). We cannot explain how excited we are for this event to happen.
We also want to add that to launch the tour, Audiofly gave out their edit of David Crosby’s “I’d Swear There Was Someone Here” as a gift from the Flying Circus team. (link below)
