Winter is here, and as the days grow darker and colder, so do our musical sensibilities. We’ve danced our last piknics, and grooved under the late-setting summer sun for long enough. What so many of us are longing for headed into the colder months, is something Montreal specializes in…Techno…and what better way to indulge in some true, rave-y techno than with some of our best Techno locals, a new dancing space, and an international guest? VTSS?

This Saturday, Polish techno-vanguard VTSS will be ripping the decks to shreds at Le Livart. If you haven’t already heard of this rising-star, techno queen, then you should check out the show this weekend.

📆3 days away, This Saturday is gonna be off the hook! The clock is ticking, don't forget to grab your ticket 👉🎟https://bit.ly/36hoU5J🎟Big thank you to Maude Maestracci from @bonimenteursmtl for the amazing video

VTSS has burst onto the global scene; spinning an energizing, rave-y, hardcore sound across Europe, with appearances in North & South America as well. Bjarki, SPFDJ, Cleric, SHDW & Obscure Shape are just a few artists who she plays among in the global touring circuit. If you’re trying to feel out what to expect on Saturday, just know that she’s played Gabber (yes, Gabber), for as long as she’s been DJing techno.

Her very recently released track “Atlantyda” has practically broken the internet. Fans across social media have been begging for its track ID for months now, and its much anticipated release was a relief-to techno-heads everywhere. This emotional, late-night/early morning tune can be listened to below (that drum solo, tho).

Also check out her Madrid Mondo Disco XIX Boiler Room. It has the perfect balance between serious and fun tracks. Hard hitting, heavy stuff, some acid, and some carefree, fun-loving music in there as well.

Alongside one of my techno favorites UMFANG, VTSS was recently added to the illustrious lineup of Brooklyn fem collective and talent agency, DISCWOMAN. If you’re in search of some of fem-positive, hardcore sounds this weekend, your search has ended here.

Our local techno heroes are what make these experiences so well rounded and immaculate. D&D a.k.a UNDFND & PRML have recently opened for Berghain dwellers DJ Nobu, Marcel Fengler, and Suara Label Boss Coyu. If anyone remembers their closing set at Abandoned 2018, you’ll know the kind of industrial vibe to expect.

8am dropping bombs at @stereomontreal honestly what an incredible night. The chemistry between @syla_music and I was unreal! B2b for me are always a challenge because it is sometimes hard to follow artists track for track. And this time we didn’t even have to think about what to play. Complete improvisation from both sides. And the result was fantastic! Huge thank you to everyone who came to hear up play until the end! Despite the big weekend with @aimexperience we managed to have a full dance floor and the energy was on point. Huge thanks to Luc for the amazing light show and the hospitality of the beautiful staff. Always on point! There’s really no place like Home!See you all next time ⚡️⚡️⚡️

Mickael a.k.a. Mike Larry has been expertly commandeering the decks at our (((home))) again and again. There’s no doubt he’ll deliver something special on Saturday. Alex Borzych, who played recently at Kontrast’s Salon Daome takeover, is set to b2b with Omar Hamdi, resident DJ at Montreal’s industrial techno collective OCTOV. These two have set the tone for many a wild, techno-crazed evening in the past
