Montreal En Lumière (in collaboration with Bell) is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. For the occasion, the organizers have put together an exceptional program, filled with fun activities for the whole family, of which many are free.

In fact, the festivities will run from February 21 to March 3, 2019, reviving Montreal and its population after the cold weather we’ve experienced. Check-out the website to track all of the events made available to the public.

Nuit Blanche (in collaboration with the Montreal Casino) is back with a new theme for its 16th edition: Nuit Blanche Of The Future.

Aside from Igloofest, Nuit Blanche is said to be one of the most popular winter attractions Montreal has to offer. Since its inauguration in 2004, the number of participants nearly tripled, now reaching 300,000 people.

This year, the special all-nighter will be celebrating its Sweet Sixteen in grand, with nearly 140 sites spread throughout our lovely city. The special closing event will start at 7pm on Saturday March 2 and will end on Sunday March 3 at 7pm.

Bringing together food, art, music and people for yet another year. Many of the activities and attractions are offered for free or at a discounted price.

“ If you don’t know which way to turn with a program of 200 super-intriguing activities to pick from, here are a few custom-made circuits to help you plan out your evening!”

Make sure to check out the Montreal En Lumiere website for the PARCOURS section!

The winter festival really upped their game this year. The large scope of attractions available truly is impressive, with visual art installations, films, dancing, exhibitions, games, light shows, comedy shows, music, live shows and more, the indoor and outdoor sites will bring warmth to the city’s cold winter months.

On March 2, 2019, Nuit Blanche‘s attractions will be scattered over 9 Poles, all located around the city:

  • Pole Quartier des Spectacles / Quartier des Spectacles Pole
  • Pole Centre-ville / Downtown Pole
  • Pole Quartier Latin et Village / Quartier Latin & Gay Village Pole

Enter The Mystic Realm | Nuit Blanche @ Newspeak

For all of the night owls out there, many musical performances and events will be on the menu. Out of all of these events, one deserves to be highlighted. In fact, La Porte Mystique will showcase 3 special performances by some of our favourite local DJs. Newspeak in collaboration with Husa Sounds and I Love Neon will transform the room to create an immersive futuristic experience. Although optional, we highly encourage all attendees to partake in the evening’s theme! Let your imagination run wild and the creative juices flow by dressing-up!

For the occasion, Pōe (MTL), Mike Haddad (MTL), Mustafa Ismaeel (Toronto) and our own Adam Husa (MTL) have all prepared special musical futuristic sets, helping all participants to travel through the future realm. The musical performances are sure to be unique,  including a special crafted hybrid set from Pōe B2B Adam Husa.

We’re quickly being driven through the abyss by technologies, controlling and connecting all aspects of our lives. With digital connectivity increasing and seeing breakthroughs, there is no signs of it slowing down anytime soon… The world might be entering a state of human disconnection. Thankfully, a group of avant-gardists will not let this happen without a fight. Through art and music, this group will attempt to awaken the human soul on March 2nd.
