Event | Burning Sun Invites CityFox to Heat Up the Dancefloor

It has been no secret that Burning Sun has been one of Montreal’s most adored deep & progressive parties of 2018.

Featuring some of our most favorite local names along with out of town talents from far and wide, so many of us (including myself) spend the week counting down the days until our next moments under the sunroof among good friends and only the best vibes.

Well, I have some good news! Even with the winter fast approaching, this highly reputed party isn’t going anywhere. On Saturday, November 24th, Burning Sun is presenting one of its most stacked lineups to date, with the promise of curing your winter blues and bringing together familiar faces and incredible energy like never before.

So who are we expecting for this November’s lineup? The Burning Sun team is proud to present none other than New York City’s Justin Marchacos , who currently holds rank as a core artist in both the ebb + flow family and s well as Cityfox. After making an unforgettable solo debut performance with his live set at The Cityfox Experience New Year’s Eve 2015 showcase, Justin was catapulted into the heart of the dance music scene. Having listened to his recent “Kingdom EP”, it’s safe to say that Justin’s sound aligns impeccably with the music and vibrations we’ve come to know and love at Burning Sun.

Having shared the stage with industry legends like Lee Burridge, Tale of Us, Bedouin, M.A.N.D.Y., Âme, Mano Le Tough, Adriatique, ANDHIM, and Rodriguez Jr (just to name a few), there’s no doubt in my mind that Justin will bring only the best possible LIVE experience curated to a crowd of Montrealers looking to heat up the dancefloor from midday through midnight. Our crowds are always looking for an engaging, progressive artist who’s able to evoke real emotion and storytelling through their sound. Justin has conveyed his story through hundreds of live performances, along with releases as an artist with ebb+flow and Cityfox, and he’s ready to bring it to terrace on the 24th!

In addition, we’ll be graced by Hometown Heroes Hicky & Kalo, who will no doubt be taking us on a melodic journey through the medium of Plaisirs Sonores Records. This dynamic duo never disappoints; I’m sure their sound will leave room for tearing it up on the dance floor.

Given this special lineup, why not stick around from beginning to end? NoiseFloor Records’ Andres Velilla will be opening up the afternoon with the best homegrown sounds, while Montreal based DJ DAVIAN will surely bring a little piece of Burning Man or Tulum to help us brave the start of the impending Montreal winter.

I almost forgot to mention! Joining us this Saturday, to cap it all off, is none other than Alex Pycke. Having just slayed his Stereo debut, opening for Brooklyn Legend Danny Tenaglia, Alex is energized and ready to bring his take on deep & progressive wavelengths to the terrace’s dance floor. With this addition, it’s clear that the Burning Sun team has really outdone themselves this time!

Burning Sun has the tendency to bring together all the joys of life under one roof…as for now, I’ll be looking forward to spending time with one of my favorite crowds under the newly closed walls and sunroof. Amazing music, people, and a surprise fruit platter later in the evening is in store for you!
