Timeless, punchy, soulful and immersive. Tone Depth comes back strong on the scene with his latest release, a beautifully crafted hypnotic four-song EP, fourth in line of fryhide label releases.

The catchy deep tech soundscape of Odyssey Part I reflects emotion, maturity and solid production over ambient techno tones, soaring dark rhythms, live-recorded instrumentation and gliding bass and synth – perfect for a nighttime ride.

This EP reflects hours of studio time spent exploring and perfecting Tone Depth’s evolving sound, taking it new directions as the artist builds on an already established mastery of dark and evocative soundscapes. His work is guided by « simplicity and fluidity » and a willingness to bring techno sounds to light in evocative and complementary ways – and it’s effective! Each of the Odyssey’s songs reflects a different facet of Tone Depth’s long-term building musicality, powered by booming dark waves, ascending tech-house kicks and melodies coasting between cloudy and clear resonances.

The Fauna & Flora founder graced us with memorable performances the past couple months in the crypt of Abandoned Church as well as gracing the decks of Stereo for their 18 year anniversary.
