This weekend at Ancient Future, your ears and eyes are in for a mélange of different musical tastes, visual arts, and circus arts, all with one thing in common: electronic media and a vision for tomorrow.

This evening the festival opens its doors to the public at 4pm at Quai de L’Horloge.

This weekend you’ll have to make some tough choices between the following three stages: Solotech, Boom Box, and Dome Eden. Here, you’ll find Syrian wedding singer turned Arab electro icon, Omar Souleyman, performing live; Mall Grab b2b Project Pablo; Detroit techno legend, Kevin Saunderson; and Fritz Kalkbrenner, to name a few.

Both nights at 9pm the party will transition into Hangar 16, where you’ll find local talents like Atroxx, Mike Larry; doing his first live installation, Nymra & Sofisticated, and Johnny Trika (live); and international artists such as Sam Paganini, Eagles & Butterflies, and to finish off the festival, the seductive beats of Victor Ruiz.

Make sure to check out ticketing here, as Quai de L’Horloge and Hangar 16 have separate fees.

Closing the weekend with the official after party will be our Ancient Future edition of Waterfront on Sunday night at Marché des Éclusiers. Don’t miss it!
