5 Events Marathon for 5 Year Anniversary of Husa Sounds!

What started as a daily podcast quickly turned into a conceptual event promoting platform based in Montreal for the electronic music community. It’s our birthday this weekend and we want to see you! For our 5 years anniversary we wanted to make it a special occasion and not shy away from the craziness. We came together with all our strengths to promote a 5 event, 3 day marathon that is this weekend.

To kick things off, as you may have read earlier today, our partnership between Neon and FrontRite invites you witness the very talented and inspiring DJ/producer, Luca Bacchetti. He’ll be playing a 3-hour set and it’s very exciting as has not been seen Montreal for over three years. So the first location, Newspeak, will be our initial dance floor to break the inertia as Adam Husa will warm the decks and dive into the weekend. [ event ]

Our Saturday afternoon features a warm, invite-only, terrace day party title The Sun Dance. As this is a private event, we can’t say more, but we invite you to get in touch with us for more details. Moving on, the party will be taken to Velvet Speakeasy for Saturday night. For this occasion, we’ve invited a very special guest coming all the way from BC. Having performed at the legendary Burning man, Vancouver’s M.I.A. as well as Toronto’s Parlour, Niki Sadeki‘s West Coast intuition will surely keep us frisky all night. Local acts Mike Haddad and Mitch Oliver will set the tone for what will be nothing short of a spectacular evening. [ event ]

By now if you know Husa Sounds, you know Sundays are just plain wild. For the 5 years anniversary, we’re really taking the Sunday Funday to another level at none other than Piknic Électronik’s Moog Audio Stage at the beloved Parc Jean-Drapeau. Starting at 14:00 the charming Duchesse will be putting on warm cuts of mythical groove and mind-bending soundscapes. Following up their much anticipated StereoBar event, Jimmy Be and Adam Husa will be delivering their classic b2b smackdown. [ event ]

In closing we turn to our weekly Sunday gathering: Waterfront. Situated in St-Henri, the spot will surely make you want to stay until the wee-hours. This afterparty’s roster finds Duchesse rejoining us alongside female sonic wave Debbie Doe as well as a special surprise guest & trust us when we say you ill not be disappointed. [ event ]
